Curvkatha was born from the heart of a mother and inspired by the love of her little boy, Yatharth.

What started as a personal journey of struggling to find comfortable, confidence boosting fashion for curvy women slowly turned into a dream. A dream to create a space where women feel seen, celebrated, and beautiful exactly as they are.

And through every late night, every design decision, every small win, and every challenge, one tiny little companion has been right beside the journey - Yatharth.

From sitting through design selections to cheering during photoshoots, from playful moments during brainstormng, to simply being the biggest source of strength and motivation just by being there - he is a part of Curvkatha in the purest way possible.

Curvkatha is more than a fashion brand.

It is a story of motherhood, courage, dreams, resilience, and building something meaningful with love at the center of it all.

The Mom Behind CurvKatha - Kanchan

Kanchan is the heart behind Curvkatha. A woman deeply rooted in empathy, strength, spirituality, and purpose. Beyond being a founder, she is a mother, a dreamer, and someone who believes that true beauty begins with self-acceptance. Her journey with body image, confidence, and comfort shaped not only her personal growth but also the vision behind Curvkatha, a brand created to help women feel seen, celebrated, and beautiful exactly as they are.

For years, Kanchan’s work has been deeply connected to healing, transformation, and inner growth. Before building Curvkatha, she spent years guiding people through spirituality and self-discovery as a tarot reader, numerologist, shamanic practitioner, NLP and breakthrough coach, and subconscious reprogramming expert. Her journey has always revolved around helping people heal their relationship with themselves, step into their confidence, and reconnect with their true identity. Through her work, she witnessed how deeply self-worth and self-image shape the way women live, dress, and show up in the world.

Building this brand was a leap of faith, moving from the world of healing and spirituality into fashion with nothing but intuition, courage, and a deeply rooted belief that women deserve to feel beautiful without needing to shrink themselves first. For Kanchan, Curvkatha is not just a business; it is soul-led work woven into fabric, comfort, confidence, and community.

Kanchan is the warm, empathetic woman who has lived the pain, embraced her curves, and now gently helps other women fall in love with themselves again, with grace, joy, and quiet confidence. And CurvKatha, by large is an extension of her warmth, compassion, love and honor for every other curvy woman out there!

The Little Founder - Yatharth

At just four years old, Yatharth is the youngest and perhaps the most magical part of Curvkatha’s founder duo. Naughty, playful, endlessly curious, and full of life, he brings joy, laughter, and light into everything around him. A true Gen Alpha child, Yatharth has a personality that is both wildly energetic and incredibly emotionally aware at the same time. He enjoys music deeply and delights at the sight of trains.

Being born to a deeply intuitive and spiritual mother, he carries a rare sensitivity and compassion even at such a young age. He can genuinely feel the emotions and pain of others, and his kindness often shines through in the simplest yet most powerful ways. Despite being only four, he somehow always knows the right things to say, gives the sweetest advice, and has become Kanchan’s biggest supporter, loudest cheerleader, strongest motivator, and constant source of strength throughout the Curvkatha journey.

Behind every dream, every late night, and every small victory is a tiny little soul clapping the hardest and believing the biggest. Yatharth is not just a part of Curvkatha, he is the heartbeat, innocence, and pure love behind it all. ❤️
